Monica Geller and Chandler Bing were friends for years before they got together. Though they had their ups and downs, they were the most solid couple of the series and eventually moved out of the city and into a house with their twin babies.
John Stamos and Lori Loughlin allegedly dated in real life for a bit but it was never serious. Becky and Jesse are still one of the most beloved TV couples and made an appearance in the "Full House" spin-off "Fuller House" on Netflix.
Praised for its realistic portrayal of a working-class American family, "Roseanne" starred Roseanne Barr and John Goodman as Roseanne and Dan Connor, from 1988 to 1997. The revival in 2017 lasted one season after controversial comments made by Roseanne Barr.
Ross and Rachel were on and off throughout the duration of the show and eventually had a daughter together named Emma. Ross slept with another woman and when Rachel found out he famously said they were "on a break" but Rachel didn't see it that way and so one of the greatest TV debates was born.
The love between the silly, clumsy and lovable Lucy and her hot-tempered but compassionate Cuban husband Ricky remains one of the most enduring TV relationships of all time since it premiered in 1951. Though their real life marriage didn't last, their TV relationship continues to garner fans decades later.
Fred Savage plays Kevin in "The Wonder Years" and he eventually dates Winnie, played by Danica McKellar though in their younger years they were friends. Their love didn't last but their young romance is considered one of the greats of TV.
Harriette and Carl live in Chicago, Illinois and the show revolves around their family antics. Carl is a police officer and he's married to Harriette and they have three kids and a quirky neighbor named Steve Urkel. The show is one of the longest-running sitcoms with a predominantly African-American cast in the U.S.
"Grey's Anatomy" stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith, a doctor who falls in love with Derek, a neurosurgeon played by Patrick Dempsey. Their relationship is one of the most famous of the show and Derek's death was heartbreaking for Meredith (and fans who didn't see it coming).

Cliff is an obstetrician and Clair is a lawyer and the series centers around their efforts to help guide their children. The show was praised for showcasing two successful African American parents and for the family values.
"Saved by the Bell" first aired in 1989 and followed the lives of a group of students at the fictional Bayside High School students. Zack is the popular hunk and Kelly was the head cheerleader so they were the stereotypical high school sweethearts and that carried over into college which was a separate series.
Dre's character is portrayed as a family man in this series and he's played by comedian Anthony Anderson. He and his family live in a white upper-middle-class neighborhood, and the show follows as they navigate racial, familial, and class issues.
Stefan was the result of "cool juice" which transformed the nerdy Steve Urkel into the ultra-cool Stefan Urquelle. Though Laura and Stefan are in love and Steve is in love with Laura, she eventually sees how arrogant Stefan is and chooses Steve.
Carrie and her friends nicknamed her boyfriend (and later husband) "Mr. Big" due to his live-large lifestyle. Later in the show, viewers learn that his real name is John though that was rarely seen on the show. "The Jeffersons" is a spin-off of "All in the Family," George and Louise were the neighbors of Archie and Edith in "All in the Family." They begin their show when they "move up" in the world (part of the lyrics of their signature song) by moving into a high-rise apartment. The show ran from 1975-1985.
Lucious is the CEO of Empire Entertainment and a hip-hop artist. Cookie and Lucious get divorced while Cookie is in jail for dealing drugs but their chemistry and connection remains undeniable.
Angel is a vampire slayer who was formerly known as Angelus, and he is over 200 years old. Buffy and Angel meet at school, where Buffy senses that he is a good vampire and they develop a deep and loving relationship.
"The League" is about a group of friends who are obsessed with fantasy football. Kevin and Jenny are married and have a daughter together and a passion for fantasy football. Though she knows more about football, she faces prejudice when attempting to join the all-male league and Kevin fails to advocate for her.
Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv from "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"
Will lives with his Uncle Will and Aunt Viv in the posh neighborhood of Bel Air. In season 4 of the series, Daphne Maxwell Reid replaced Janet Hubert, the original actress who played Aunt Viv though it was never really addressed in the show.
"Moonlighting" is a comedy show about Maddie, a former model and her snarky employee David Addison who encourages her to keep Blue Moon Detective Agency and launch a new career for herself. They're considered one of the best TV couples of all time.
Yunjin Kim and Daniel Dae Kim play Sun and Jin on the critically acclaimed yet controversial series "Lost," which debuted in 2004. Throughout the show, viewers learn more and more about the private couple with dark secrets.

Glenn Rhee and Maggie Greene are played by Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohan. In both the comic book and series they get together and eventually get married.
The role of Dylan made a star of actor Luke Perry and despite success following the end of the series, he's still most famous for this role. Dylan was Brenda's high school sweetheart and though they didn't last, their relationship endures as a wholesome albeit dramatic representation of teenage love.
Lady Mary is known to be the snobbiest of the three sisters in "Downton Abbey." She rejected Matthew's first marriage proposal because she did not want to marry "beneath" her rank since he was a lawyer and not "blue blood." When she does accept his proposal, he retracts it since she took so long.
Even though "The Hills" was about the life of Lauren Conrad, Spencer and Heidi quickly became the most talked about individuals on the show. Though their relationship was volatile at times, they've remained together since the show ended in 2010. The revamped version of "The Hills" premieres in 2019 with Heidi and Spencer once again a part of the show.

Carrie and Aiden won the hearts of many viewers as two opposites who seemed to have found a good balance. Though they initially break up, they reunite and get engaged only to end things on a bitter note when Carrie calls off the engagement.
"Glee" is a series about a high school's glee club called New Directions. Kurt and Blaine (fans dubbed them Klaine) are the first gay couple on the show and they have many ups and downs but eventually they get married.
Lorelei is played by Lauren Graham, and Luke, her close friend, and later lover, is played by Scott Patterson. Luke owns a diner which Lorelai frequents with her daughter, Rory where they both consume copious amounts of coffee. Luke always had a bit of a crush on Lorelai but it takes her a while to come around but when she does they form a solid relationship by the end of the series.
Amy Poehler plays Leslie, who works for the Parks and Recreation Department in Pawnee, Indiana. Ben is played by Adam Scott and they later marry and have children and eventually, he becomes her campaign manager as she climbs the political corporate ladder.
Charlotte York Goldenblatt is known as the high-strung one in her group of friends on "Sex and the City." She gets together with her divorce lawyer Harry after divorcing her first husband, Trey. They end up with two children as seen in the film.
The debut of British sitcom "Catastrophe" was in 2015. Sharon and Rob meet while on a trip to London, and soon after Sharon is pregnant which complicates their plans. Sharon Horgan and comedian Rob Delaney star in and write the series.

Jim and Pam's relationship started off friendly since she was engaged but they later got together and formed one of the most endearing TV relationships of all time. Their wedding episode featured the cast of "The Office" dancing down the aisle after Jim and Pam secretly married on a boat in Niagara Falls.
Cece is Jess's best friend and she has an on-again, off-again relationship with Jess's roommate, Schmidt. Schmidt's neurosis and Cece's more laid back vibes complement each other despite their personality differences and they eventually marry and have a daughter together.
