J.K. Rowling brought Harry Potter to life with the release of her first novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 1997. While the series came to life on paper, it further bloomed with the release of the first Harry Potter film in 2001.

While fans like you were only given a small glimpse of the scenes and characters, the first film let us walk right into the wizarding world. The world that was created in Philosopher's Stone continued with the following seven films. Were you rushing to the box office for your ticket?
