Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? Today, she's traveling around the world to see all the famous statues, and we're going with her! From the Statue of Liberty to the Sphinx, do you know where in the world you can find these statues?

Since the beginning of time, people have been creating statues to commemorate history. All around the world, one could find statues for both political and religious leaders. While some of these international statues are easier to pinpoint on a map, could you name the location of all of them?

Picking out the location of the Statue of Liberty is easy, especially if you're from the United States, but we're traveling all over the world with these statues!

Could you pick out where you'd find the Sphinx? A statue of the mythological creature, it has the head of a human and the body of a lion. The Thinker is another popular statue that could be found at the Rodin Museum. But, where is the Rodin museum?

It's believed The Great Sphinx, a creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, was built by Ancient Egyptians on the west bank of the Nile River in Giza probably sometime between 2558–2532 BC, which would have been during the reign of the Egyptian Pharaoh Khafre. However, there is a differing theory that it was the Pharoah Khufu, Khafre's father, who had it -- and the pyramids -- constructed.
