SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER! Actually, with this quiz, it's back in session! Every year, millions of children, teenagers and adults are heading to office supply stores to stock up for the new year. From Staples to Office Depot, buy some school supplies and we'll tell you which clique you fit in with!
Every July, just when it seems like the summer holiday is finally underway, you'll see a back-to-school commercial pop up. Between the last few weeks of August and the first few weeks of September, you'll see millions of students crowd the office supply stores to stock up. From notebooks to highlighters to pens, which school supplies were you buying?
On a level of 1 to 10, how prepared were you? If you were a jock, you might've been solely focused on your grades so you could continue playing your sport. You probably stuck to the basics of notebooks, pens and pencils.ÂÂ
For those who were "geeks" or "nerds," your school supply arsenal came more prepared than that! While you had these basics, you probably even had binders, folders, protractors, staplers, and hard drives! If you were bypassing the school supplies all together, you might've been the slacker.ÂÂ
School supplies are extremely important to the success of a student. When you bought your school supplies, were you planning to excel like the nerds or coast by like the jocks?

What kind of backpack are you going to get?
Something with my favorite team's colors.
A backpack with lots of pockets to organize all my stuff.

I might, but I'd use it for other things besides pens and pencils.
There's no way I'm getting one of those.

How many pens are you going to buy?
A lot. You can never be too prepared.
None, I'll just borrow some from other people.

How many different colored pens are you going to get?
I'll get some blue, black, and red pens.
None. Like I said, I'm not buying any pens.

Nah.
Of course. I'm going to load up on the pencils.
I'll just use the old ones I have from last year.
I'll probably get a couple of pencils.
Are you going to invest in a pencil sharpener?
I might. I sometimes zone out and sharpen pencils when I'm bored.
I doubt it. I don't use pencils that much.
Nope, they have those in the classroom, or I'll use other people's sharpeners.
Yes, it's always nice to be able to sharpen your own pencils.

How many different colored highlighters will you get?
I'll just get a yellow one.
I'll get a whole big set of them with many different colors.
None. I'm not into highlighting.
I'll get a few, but they'll be really unusual colors.
Will your shopping list include permanent markers?
Oh yeah, I love to write anti-conformist stuff in black on my stuff.
I don't think so.

Will you get a block eraser?
Yeah, I'll get a couple of those.
Nah, the pencils I borrow usually have erasers on them.
I might get one.
I rarely use pencils, so I think that would be a waste.

How many three-ring binders will you purchase?
I'll get one of those.
None. I just stuff things in my locker.
I'll use one from last year. It has all my artwork on it.
I'll get at least two of them. I have a lot to keep organized.
Will you need a three-hole-punch tool?
No way, only geeks carry something like that around.
That would be helpful to have on hand.
That might be fun. I could make confetti with it.
That seems a bit much.
Are you going with loose-leaf paper or spiral notebooks?
I definitely prefer spiral notebooks. I do a lot of artwork in them, especially on the cover.
I'll stick with the loose-leaf paper and my binder.
Neither. I usually just borrow paper from my teacher or a neighbor.
Both. It's nice to have options.

How much graph paper are you going to pick up?
I'll probably pass on that one.
I'll get a pad or two.
None. I'm sure that will be provided if necessary.

Will you pick up some subject dividers to stay organized?
That's way too square for me.
Nope. I have a place in my locker where I shove important stuff.

I think those are usually included with the binders.
Are index cards on your list?
Oh yeah. I'll get a couple stacks with a variety of colors.

How many plastic folders will go into your shopping cart?
I might get a couple for important stuff.
I don't need any of those.
I'll get one, but mostly for stuff not related to school.
I definitely like to protect my work. I'll get a bunch of those.
What kind of glue are you going to get?
I'm not getting any glue.
I'll get a couple different varieties.
I'll pick up a glue stick.
I'll get a bottle of regular glue.
Are Post-It Notes something you think you'll need?
I can come up with some creative uses for them.
Maybe for leaving notes for my friends.
Nope, I can't imagine why I would need them.
They come in handy for sure. I'll get a bunch of different colors.

How important is it for you to have some White-Out?
It might be useful, but I don't think I'll get any.
It's vital. I've got to have that.
Not at all.
I definitely want to have some. I use it for decorations mostly.
Would a protractor be a worthwhile investment for you?
I might be able to create some cool designs with it.
Are you kidding me? No way.
Of course. It's an important tool to have.
Not unless the teacher requests it of me.
What kind of ruler do you want to get?
A nice, thin metal one.
I'll go with none of them.
A basic wooden one.
I don't need a stinking ruler. I'm not a fan of straight lines.

Are scissors a must-have on your list?
A cheap pair would be fine.
Not at all.
They're not a must-have, but it would be cool to have a pair.
Yeah, and a really good pair of them too.
Will a graphing calculator be necessary for you this year?
It better not be.
Yeah, it's something I simply have to have.
Even if it is, I'm not buying one. They are way too expensive.
I might need one, but I'm really hoping I don't have to buy one.
Are you going to get a combination lock?
I prefer one that takes a key to unlock it.
Yeah. I'll just get the basic one.
I don't think so. Maybe the school will give me one.

What will your organizer or calendar look like?
Just a basic calendar to put in my locker.
I'll just use an app on my phone for that.

It will be covered in my drawings and rebellious statements.
Are you going to put covers on your books to protect them?
Of course, but I'll sneak some of my handiwork into the book as well.
No way, that's way too much work.

How are you going to bring your lunch to school?
I'll bring it in a paper bag.
I'll just eat off other people's plates.

What kind of pants or skirts will you be wearing?
Khakis and other nice-looking casual stuff.
Jeans.
Whatever the material, there will be plenty of holes in it.

Meh, whatever I have lying around that's wearable.
Dress shirts/blouses.
T-shirts with messages that the principal may or may not ask me to turn inside out.

Leather and metal studs.
