About This Quiz

Although the NRA is sometimes considered a controversial group, many people believe in the group's mission to protect the rights of gun owners. After we get to know your personality, your beliefs, and your familiarity with firearms, we think we'll know whether you are a member of the group or not. All you have to do is take aim and answer our questions.

Led by the group's president, Oliver North, the National Rifle Association has been in existence since 1871. Over the years, the role of the NRA has changed. From merely keeping folks informed about gun legislation to lobbying against more legislation, the group has made its stance on gun ownership quite clear.

Throughout this quiz, we are going to try to figure out if you are a current member, a past member, or if you are considering joining. When you see our questions, don't hesitate to pull the trigger on the answer that represents you best. Everything from your political beliefs to your prowess on the range will be taken into account, and we'll try to make our call based upon the answers you provide. Will we nail your NRA membership down, or will we need to go a few more rounds?
