About This Quiz

The star swimmers that you've come to know and love make swimming their life. They train multiple times a day, multiple times a week, watch what they eat and make sure they're eating enough to sustain the muscle mass needed to perfect their swimming skills. Each competitor excels at different events, and then there are the rare few that can do anything. (We're looking at you, Katie Ledecky.)

Swimming can really be a metaphor for life, if you think about it hard enough. The events are all so different, but the way to be the best at them is the same: You have to dedicate yourself, work hard, make sacrifices and be certain it's what you really want. If it's not, you won't spend the needed time in order to become the best. Think about your current job. What did it take to get where you are? We'd be it probably required some version of what it takes to become a successful professional swimmer.

If you think you have what it takes to be a competitive swimmer, think about which event you would want to be known for. Or you can take this quiz and we will guess what your best event in competitive swimming would be!
