About This Quiz

You may not know it from newspaper and television headlines, but there are way more monarchies in the world than just the Windsors. In fact, there are 26 monarchies across the world who rule or reign over 43 countries. In fact, did you know that Canada and Australia are still the subjects of Britain's royal family - along with 14 other countries?

The monarchs of the world populate all regions from the popular European families in England, Norway and Denmark, to Middle Eastern Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and Bhutan and Japan in the Far East. In fact, only two continents are without a monarchy - South America and Antartica.

If you are like the rest of the world, you can't get enough of the world's royals. But how much do you really know? You may have seen their castles, and perhaps can name several by sight. You might even know some of the "secrets" hidden within the walls of palatial estates and polite sophistication. But do you think you can figure out what country a royal is from? You might think it sounds easy, but like anything else to do with a royal, it looks a lot easier than it is. Now it's time for you to walk among the elites of the world as you take this royal quiz.
