About This Quiz

If your idea of a night of Netflix is a great war movie complete with numerous heavy artillery battlefield scenes, then we've got a quiz for you. We've compiled images of 35 tanks, and we challenge you to identify them all. How well do you think you know these awesome military vehicles? Take this quiz to find out.

Yup, we're talking about THAT kind of tank... the kind of tank that is used on the front lines of military combat, because it is equipped with heavy firepower, an armored exterior, and a kick-butt engine. Tanks, as weapons of war, are designed to be intimidating if not as indestructible as possible. But how have tanks changed since the first time they hit the battlefield?

What we know as the tank has been in play in modern warfare for more than 100 years. Three pieces of a puzzle had to come together for this war machine to come to fruition: the internal combustion engine, armor plating, and continuous track maneuvering. Without these key components, soldiers would still be hiding in Trojan horses to overcome the enemy by surprise.

Take this quiz to find out how much you know about military tanks.
