About This Quiz

The state of Texas is the second largest in the United States, with an area of 268,597 square miles and as of July 2017, it also has one of the highest populations in the country.

Texas is a state with a mixed ethnicity of people as well as a rich history and numerous national landmarks. In the city of San Antonio Texas lies The Alamo, a fortress that became the center of the Texas Revolution; the war of Independence in Texas. The Texas State Capitol is also another historic site, which is known for housing a museum filled with portraits of past governors and presidents as well as records of the great state.

Other than the two which were previously mentioned, there are several other landmarks in the state of Texas. Other historical sites, such as the San Jacinto Battlefield, Fort Worth Stockyards and Rothko Chapel can be found in the cities that make up this vast state.
