Short, tall, fat, skinny... they're all trees to us!

Take a guess as to how many trees you think there are in the world. One million? One billion? One trillion? Experts estimate that there are approximately three trillion trees in the world today! However, 15 billion are cut down every year and only five billion are planted. 

Trees come in a very diverse range of shapes and sizes, but this is not surprise since the are over 60,000 different tree species on the planet! With so many different species of trees, it was difficult to just choose 40 to put on this green and leafy quiz. However, we've made sure that this quiz includes 40 of the most iconic trees from around the world.

Did you know that trees are some of the oldest living things on the planet? Not only that, but trees are also unique for being found virtually everywhere, from cold wastelands to blazing hot deserts and from sandy beaches to lush wet jungles.
