Beauty brands like Tarte, Bobby Brown and Aveda are known to be pricey, but the quality of their products is typically second to none. The perks? The products last longer, look better and are more often than not made with healthier ingredients than cheaper drug store products.

Take shampoo for example. When you buy less expensive brands at your local grocery store, you may jump for joy when you smell that delicious coconut vanilla combination. However, what you may not know is that those kinds of shampoos are more than half water, which is why you probably blow through bottles faster than you'd like. But, when you buy those higher-end products, they contain much more product and a lot less water.
