About This Quiz

Celebrating 50 years this year, the Top Gun program is something that every child with flight aspirations dreams about being a part of someday. However, the program is even tougher to crack than the special forces. In order to be a Top Gun pilot, you are going to need to cross an extensive list of requirements off your list. We're here to help you figure out where you need to practice.

From book smarts to street smarts, a top-notch pilot must always be prepared to handle anything that might come their way. After you answer our questions, we are going to analyze the skills you have against the skills you need to have before you can even consider becoming one of the nation's most elite pilots. Once you know where you need to improve, you will have already increased your odds of making the cut.

If you find yourself needing to eject from a question, we have provided you with little hints to help keep you in the cockpit.
