From the very first Disney movie back in 1937, animals were an important part of the storyline, and whether they were the sidekicks, innocent bystanders or the villains, the movies would not be the same without them. Although there were many different types of animals, many of them reminded us of the pets that we have in our very own homes.

Even when the animals aren't the focus of the movies and television shows, they still play a significant role in the moves and are some of the most loved characters. Some of them included Simba the lion, Dory the fish, Sebastian the crab, Thumper the rabbit and Pascal the chameleon. Each of them had their own individual personalities that made them either very well liked or completely forgotten.
