The Suicide Squad is a group of antiheroes which first appeared in DC Comics "The Brave and the Bold" #25 comic book back in 1959. The team consisted of a group of felons, led by Amanda Waller, who in exchange for a reduced prison sentence carried out secret missions that helped to save the city and the world.  The group's name came about because some of the missions that they were sent on were so dangerous that it might as well have been suicide to go on them. 

In 2016, Warner Bros. Pictures brought the comic book series to the big screen and although there were many mixed reviews, the film grossed just under $750 million, worldwide. The film was filled with a star-studded cast, some of whom include Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Cara Delevingne and Jay Hernandez, all of whom played the super villains. 

Some of the team's most popular members include super strong reptile Killer Croc, the samurai warrior Katana, the powerful sorceress Enchantress, the sharp shooting sniper Deadshot, the expert marksman Captain Boomerang and the unstable gymnast Harley Quinn.
